Humanity for Children and Women Organization and Union Youth Federation of Siem Reap are proud to host the 12th Annual Angkor Wat Bike4Kids Event! The Bike4Kids! is a fun bicycle ride and race of 17k, 37k, and 117k (your choice)!) open to all ages, around the Angkor Wat Temple complex in Siem Reap! All you have to know is sign up, and then fund raise for our organization’s activities to support the children living with their parents in the prisons in Cambodia as well as to buy the bikes for poor children at Siem Reap Province and Takeo Province. We are working closely with technical expert that have many years of experience to take care of our event.It’s fun, culture, and a great charitable cause!

Last year the event sees over 700 participants each year, from young children and tourists out for a fun adventure, to competitive professionals who are racing for the gold! Whatever your level, by signing up you’ll be participating in a world-class event, which comes complete with bragging rights!

The Bike4Kids! is a fun bicycle ride and race of 17, 37, or 117 km (your choice!) open to all ages, around the Angkor Wat temple complex in Siem Reap! All you have to do is sign up, and then fund raise for our activities to support children living with their parents in the prison in Cambodia as well as to provide 50 bicycles to 50 poor students in Siem Reap province and another 50 bicycles for poor student in Takeo province. Processing the payment

** Please make payment in Cash as above mentioned registration address.

** The payment of registration to be remitted to our bank account in Cambodia and bank account information in detail to be advised after received the completed registration form/information list.

** Please notice your group name or company’s name with attachment of bank slip to us by e-mail.

** Bank charges incurred by transfer must be paid by the sender and register fees are not deducted from amount remitted.

** In case have no transaction payment into our bank account within 7days (seven days) after issued the invoice, all registrations will be automatic released from our system without prior notice.

  • It is compulsory for all participants to attend the Participation Pack Collection Spot.

In case if you are unable to present, you can authorize someone else to collect your race pack on your behalf and this person will require item is: Registrant has to write a letter of authorization to notice someone’s name together with confirmation e-mail/letter who will pick up instead. Make sure that you are able to collect your package not later than Friday 01st December, 2017 at 10pm.

  • If you have paid to rent a tandem bike or a child seat you will need to collect it directly at Angkor Fashion Plaza for this case, they need to contact directly with Unique Adventure.

What to do

  • Check your name on the board name’s list and state with your BIB Number. For this point, we will still use the same procedure as every year. People just come in telling their name and then we will search in our system and prepare the pack for them. You don’t need to worry about this, since our volunteers were well trained with our old system, so I prepare to use the same thing as last year so that it is easy for them to work on this.
  • Present your e-mail, letter of confirmation, or receipt of registration (if they register offline) to our team to get your race kit.
  • Sign on name’s list paper for our reference when you had collected race kit from our team.
  • Go to the counter “Timing Chip Check” (117km, and 37km) to check your timing chip reconfirmation shown your names on a screen. You can immediately correct with timing team, if any of your information is not correct.
  • Donation, if you paid for it in advance through the online and offline registration, or you can please to donate at Participation Pack Collection Spot, please go to Donation Counter to receive your receipt of donation.


Cut-off Times / Expect Times

All participants MUST be arrive the race point in front of Elephant Terrace temple at least 05:45am before the race start. Our team is able to stand by around 1hour for late runners after the limited time.

Timing Chip & Check Point

Timing chips will be recorded your racing time for 117km, and 37km only. To be sure that we collect for these chips after runners had completed the race, must be return the timing chip to the organizer.




Bike Mechanic

A dedicated team of mechanics from Flying Bikes will be able to assist participants with any bike issues before & during the event, however cyclists are advised to bring spare parts with them.

Event Day Information

NEW: The race starting line & event area will be located in front of the Elephant Terrace, which is located approximately 10km from Siem Reap town Centre.  The Elephant Terrace is in front of Angkor Thom (of the Angkor Wat Temple Complex) and is accessible by the east road.

Water, Energy Drink Station and Refreshment

  • Our team will distribute the water to all participants when they needed.
  • Water, Energy drink, and refreshment will be available at the Start/Finish line. Refreshment of fruits and snacks will be available onsite on race’s day before and after the race to keep energy levels high.


Portable Toilets

Portable toilets will be located at the start / finish area.


Baggage Deposit

Baggage deposit is nearby to the finish gate opens at 05:00am which located in front of Elephant Terrace temple. Participants are required to show their race number (BIB Number) to the volunteers to deposit and collect their bag after finished race. We advise that you DO NOT deposit any valuable items in the Baggage Deposit as the organizers will NOT BE responsible for any lost or stolen items and bags are not claimed by 11:00am, it will not be responsible by organizer and will donate for charity.


Parking Area

Limited space of parking, please go to the race point at least 30minutes before the race start.



Cyclist are responsible for their own personal accident insurance. Race organizers will NOT be responsible for any damage or injury that might occur during or as a result of the event, however First AID will be provided to cyclists.

Medical and First-Aid Posts

There will be a medical tent onsite at the event area for participants that may require medical attention before or after the race and will close at 11am. Any participants in need of medical attention after this time should go to the Royal Angkor International Hospital, located on National Route #6 (Airport Road), Phum Kasekam, Khum Sra Ngea, Siem Reap.

Medical Advisory

Participants are strongly advised to stop your race and alert the nearest marshal if there are experience any of the below.

  1. Light-headedness
  2. Dizziness
  3. Nausea
  4. Sudden fatigue
  5. Chest pain

Race Result

Official race results will be published in 3 days after the event. Top 3 of each category will be posted on the race day.

Access to Siem Reap, Running Course

From the Siem Reap town to the Elephant Terrace temple (start point) takes about 20minutes by Remork (Tuk Tuk) and 15minutes by Car. All participants must arrived the event place at least 20minutes before the starting time. All the categories will be start and finish in front of Elephant Terrace temple.

Tuk-Tuk – can take you and your bike to the event area (2 persons 2 bikes comfortably), however these must be arranged the day before the race as pick up will need to be early! Please note it takes about 20minutes to get to the starting line from center of Siem Reap town.

** All participants have to arrange their own transportation from your place (hotel or house) to reach the race’s point by own self, briefly there is NO shuttle bus arrangement by organizer.


There are two distinct seasons: Rainy Season and Dry Season. However, Dry Season is divided into two sub-seasons, cool and hot. These seasons are:

Rainy Season                         : From June till October 27 – 35c.

Dry Season (cool)                : From November till February 17 – 27c.

Dry Season (hot)                  : From March till May 27 – 36c.
